We are NOT WHOLESALERS. We are not interested in bullying people into selling their properties for pennies or taking advantage of people when they are desperate. We pay fair, market value prices. We are in this for the long haul, so we do not need to maximize revenue by squeezing sellers. We are happy to hold properties, knowing that the value and rents will increase with time.
We are a local real estate investment couple – Don and Maria Zondervan. We live in Seminole County and invest in the Central Florida area. We have been investing in real estate since 1996. We are building a real estate portfolio for our retirement and to leave for our children once we are gone. We own two profitable Massage Envy franchise locations, so we are not living off any real estate income. That allows us to be very flexible with the terms of our purchases. Since we are not utilizing our real estate income for our livelihood, we are able to invest that money back into purchasing properties and into fixing them up if needed.
Don spends his weekdays managing our Massage Envy locations in Downtown Orlando and Melbourne, as well as overseeing our property managers. On the weekends, you might find him making upgrades to some of our properties, or off looking at new properties to purchase.
Maria is a retired wildlife biologist who spent 26 years working for the State of Florida. She would spend her weekdays restoring habitat for endangered plants and animals, and conducting prescribed fires. Her Fridays and weekends were generally spent analyzing potential new acquisitions and reviewing property improvement plans. These days, real estate is her fulltime passion.
